Creative and artistic sessions are a one-of-a-kind session thought up, planned, built, and photographed from the ground up. We can take a concept and make it into an image. From creating costumes to traveling, to building sets, painting backdrops, going underwater… We can work to turn your dream into a beautiful portrait.

Planning for a creative portrait session

Preparation

The first step in a creative and artistic session is to understand your dream and come up with a plan of how to capture it. We will storyboard your concept, brainstorm ideas and possibilities and get to work designing your dream photoshoot!

The Shoot

This is the day it all comes together! Depending on the vision, the time fluctuates drastically! You will know ahead of time what to expect and make it as easy on you as possible!

Choose your images

Once we finish the session, we now offer same day reveal and ordering! Right after we get done we will go through all of your images and you can pick your faves! Once you have them narrowed down, we go over any additional edits you’d like and how you want your images.

I love Angie’s work at Harmony Photography but I also had a ton of fun on photo shoot day! Angie makes it super fun and she’s creative and draws out what you want or are looking for. Also, Angie is super easy to talk with about your ideas! I highly recommend anyone interested to not wait to call until you know what you want. Brainstorming with Angie on ideas on themes and goals will likely lead you to know what you want!

What does a photoshoot cost?

Creative and artistic sessions vary in the amount of time and materials they involve. Because of that, the session fee can vary. These are quoted on a case-by-case basis and we can go from there.

That being said, the base of our pricing is the starting point for your session and is as follows:

Our session fee is $250 and that includes a planning session, a fully directed photo session, hand editing of images, and a viewing/ordering session.

Printed products and digitals are sold separately – Some clients spend $400, some spend $4000. What you spend is entirely up to you, and you don’t have to make that decision until you see your portraits. We cover the full price list during consultations.
