I tend to lean more toward directing you rather than posing you. It’ll be less of a “move your elbow down an inch” and more of a “whisper to her what you had for breakfast” or “walk toward me holding hands like you are just learning to walk” or “tell him with your eyes how his smile makes you feel”. I know, I know… it sounds silly, but the results are undeniable!
The biggest compliment I can get, and I hear it over and over, is “I felt so comfortable!” My goal is to reflect back what I see – and I don’t stop until my camera captures what my eyes and heart see. Your relationship deserves to be celebrated! Whether it’s for an anniversary, an engagement, a new haircut, an update, an announcement or just because – let me be your guide!

How a couple’s portrait session works
Planning
We’ll meet through Zoom or in-person and come up with a plan! Couples sessions are personal and customized to you. I promise to answer all of your questions. This is our chance to get to know each other and I can learn how you want to be photographed! You will also receive our Client Guide and tips so you know exactly what you need to do to prepare.
Preparation
We’ll meet through Zoom or in-person and come up with a plan! Couples and Engagement sessions are personal and customized to you. I promise to answer all of your questions. This is our chance to get to know each other and I can learn how you want to be photographed! You will also receive our Client Guide and tips so you know exactly what you need to do to prepare.
The Shoot
Then we’ll spend around an hour together shooting you with different backgrounds and prompts to create the look you want. I will guide you every step of the way so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
Choose your images
Once we finish the session, we now offer same day reveal and ordering! Right after we get done we will go through all of your images and you can pick your faves! Once you have them narrowed down, we go over any additional edits you’d like and how you want your images.

How much does a couple’s photoshoot cost?
Our session fee is $400 and that includes a planning session, professional hair and makeup in-studio, a fully directed photo session, hand editing of images, and a viewing/ordering session.
Printed products and digitals are sold separately – Some clients spend $400, some spend $4000. What you spend is entirely up to you, and you don’t have to make that decision until you see your portraits. We cover the full price list during consultations.
